On 17th July 2024, a health camp was organized in the remote villages Kurwapani and Tarajhar, located 45 kilometers from the Mainpur Block. This initiative was led by Dr. Gajendra Dhruw Kumar, Block Medical Officer, along with B.E.T.O. Mukesh Kumar Sahu, V.B.D.T.S. Mrs. Savita Vishwakarma, and M.T. Monika, along with a medical team of five members.
The camp included malaria testing and treatment, distribution of deworming medication, and nutritional guidance for children up to the age of five as part of the Malnutrition Prevention Campaign. General OPD health checkups and overall health screenings were also conducted for all the villagers, benefiting 285 people in total through this NCD screening and healthcare program.
